RASTRIYA SWAYAM SEVAK SANGH
RASTRIYA SWAYAM SEVAK SANGH(RSS) is a national volunteer organisation,is a right wing hindu nationalist organisation based in india.it was founded in 1925 by keshav baliram hedgewar and is known for its strrong ideology and organisation presence throughout the contry.
The rss has a hiearchical structure with shakas (local branches) functioning as the primary units.members, commonly reffered to as swayamsevaks, participate in physical exercises,drills,and ideology discussions during these shaka gatherings.the organisation promotes the concept of hindutva, which emphasizes the culture and national unity of hindus..
the RSS has beeb associated with the bharatiya janata party (BJP), which is currently the ruling party in india .many key leaders of BJP have roots in the rss and have been influenced by its ideology. over the years , the RSS has been involved in various socila and cultural activities,including education ,welfare work ,and disaster relief. However it has also faced criticism and controversy for its alleged role in promoting a divise agenda,religious,discrimination , and instances of violence.
GREAT LEADERS CAME FROM RSS TO BJP
some notable leaders have emrged from the rastriya swayam sevak sangh(RSS).The RSS is a right- wing ,hondu nationalist organisation in india.while it is true that the RSS has played a significant role in indian polytics and society ,it is important to note that the RSS itself dows not directly participate in electoral poitics.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee: He was a renowned statesman and served as the Prime Minister of India from 1998 to 2004. Vajpayee started his political journey as an RSS pracharak (full-time worker) before becoming a founding member of the BJP.
L.K. Advani: He is a senior leader of the BJP and a key figure in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, which advocated for the construction of a Hindu temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya. Advani also began his political career in the RSS.
